Enjoying the great outdoors.

Shuan and I took the pop up camper out last weekend. This is our 2nd trip out this spring, we love camping even more now that we have the pop-up. We went to Detroit Lake, it is one of our favorite spots. Shaun caught lots of trout and we relaxed by the lake. We hope to go out a few more times before the baby arrives.

Nesting

The nursery has been painted, the crib is up and so now its time to decorate. I have a gray and yellow color scheme. I found some great pillows, white shelves, curtains and a fun rug. I am also going to be making a mobile with yellow birds. So here are a few before photos of the room and the after photos will follow.

29 Weeks

Spa la la

Shaun surprised me with a visit to Barefoot Sage. What is this you ask? Well, it is a relaxing retreat that focuses on foot massage. We each had an hour long foot soak and foot massage. It was so relaxing and we both loved the pampering.

Sweet Sunshine Bedding

I was super excited to find a bright and fun print for the bedding for the crib. Since the color on the walls in the nursery is a very soft gray and the couch is a gray. The bedding is yellow, gray and a little touch of orange. Not your typical pink frills for a girls room. But, very precious with flowers and birds. I am excited to make some curtains and pillows and then to find a fun colorful rug to tie it all together.

The first stages of the nursery

We are turning our guest room into the Nursery. But, we have taken into consideration the fact that we will be having visitors (Yea). So, we purchased a sofa sleeper for the room as well. Shaun busted out the painting and it looks so fresh and new. He really did a great job. We set up the crib and changing table. Here are a few pictures of the before and after.
